Originally from Papua New Guinea I was raised in the Solomon Islands throughout my childhood. Due to a civil conflict, my family were evacuated to Australia where we moved to Cairns. I now consider myself a local having completed primary and high school as well as university at JCU Cairns. Feeling no need to venture from the tropics of Cairns, much similar to the Solomon Islands, I have worked in several industries including construction, aviation ground support and accounting. More recently I have worked in the financial industry as a Paraplanner for over 4 years and have recently joined Astute in a similar role working in the Wealth division alongside Tracey & Cath. I very much look forward to working with our clients to help improve their financial circumstances.
We were recommended from friends to see Fei Chan to discuss buying investment property. He was very polite, friendly, sincere and honest. I found every time I rang the office with a query the phone was answered promptly. Gus and his team stayed in contact at all times either by email or phone just to make sure I had complete understanding of the forms I was signing and the procedures they were taking to finalise the loan.
